    If you don't have the storage or counter space for a stand mixer, a hand mixer works too. It's much easier to store and maneuver around with in a tight space. It's also great for making small batches. It just takes longer and you have to be more attentive when using it. I have a stand mixer, but I still find myself grabbing this handy tool quite often.
